About pandatravel

A Beijing-based planning team with a clear process

We do not sell one-click China packages or pretend a complex trip is simple. A specialist first reads your request, then shapes the route around your party, pace, budget range and travel season.

Why we exist

China is easier to visit when someone local owns the route

Most inbound travelers can find a list of famous places. The hard part is knowing which places belong together, which transfers are realistic, and which day should be intentionally slower.

pandatravel is built around that gap. We start with a short request, have a local planning team review it, and turn your interests into a route that can be discussed before anything is booked.

The public site only states what we are ready to stand behind: human planning, visible tradeoffs, no fake reviews, no unverified awards, and no hidden shopping-stop model.

Our promise

Six standards you can hold us to

These are operating standards, not campaign slogans. Ask the planning team about any of them before you continue.

  • 01

    Human request review

A real specialist reviews your request before any route direction is drafted, with Chinese public holidays handled separately.

  • 02

    Clear price bands

Proposal drafts show realistic price bands and what drives them, instead of hiding everything behind a generic inquiry button.

  • 03

    No shopping-stop route model

Routes are not built around commission shopping stops. If a commercial stop is ever relevant, it must be disclosed and optional.

  • 04

    Named specialist handoff

Your request has a named owner. External direct channels stay private until verified, but the same request thread keeps the context.

  • 05

No payment before terms are clear

Drafting and discussion come first. Any payment request must follow a written proposal and service terms.

  • 06

    Bounded use of your data

Your trip details are used to discuss this trip, not sold to third parties or reused for unrelated advertising.

How we work

From first request to post-trip feedback

Each step has a clear owner and decision point. The point is not to make travel planning artificially fast; it is to make the slow parts visible.

  1. 1first reply target

Intake · we understand the trip

You send the short request. A specialist reads party size, dates, pace, dietary needs and must-see places before drafting.

  2. 2after scope is clear

    Draft · first route direction

You receive a route direction with day-by-day rhythm, stay level, price drivers and the tradeoffs we made for you.

  3. 3usually 2-3 rounds

    Refine · keep, drop, swap

You can add, remove or swap details in the same thread. The goal is to improve the route without losing context.

  4. 4before payment

    Confirm · proposal and terms

Once the route is ready, the formal proposal explains inclusions, exclusions, cancellation terms and payment steps.

  5. 5pre-trip pack

    Travel · support boundaries

Before departure, the support contacts, response windows and local handoff details are written into the trip materials.

  6. 6after return

Debrief · improve the next route

After the trip, we ask what worked and what did not. That feedback improves future route drafts instead of becoming fake marketing copy.

Pricing transparency

What the proposal should make visible

Every confirmed trip is different, so this page should not pretend there is one universal margin formula. The proposal should separate the main cost categories before you commit.

  • Costs
Ground servicesHotels, drivers, guides, admissions, restaurants, trains and domestic flights where applicable.
  • Time
Planning and advisory workThe specialist time spent reading your request, drafting the route, refining details and keeping context.
  • Ops
Operations and supportCoordination, local handoff, support preparation, company operations and risk buffers.
  • Margin
Company marginThe business margin should be visible enough to discuss, not hidden inside forced shopping stops.

Final numbers belong in the formal proposal. If a line item feels unclear, ask us to explain or revise it before payment.

Start with the trip, then meet the right specialist

Public specialist cards will appear after profile verification. For now, send the 5-step request and we will assign the right owner for your route.
